Messy Church

What is Messy Church?

A new way of being church!

• It's informal and fun
• It involves creativity; craft and other activities that can be messy!
• It's all-age (children please bring an adult!)
• It involves a short celebration that can include a story, games, songs and prayer
• A sit-down meal together

If you don't already belong to another form of church, then it's for you!

At Barneys we have Messy Church four times a year: Harvest, Christmas, Easter and summer. There are always lots of crafts to do and make for all ages at each Messy Church and there are games to play and a colouring/sticking table for very young children. It’s great fun, creative and informal.

We have refreshments available during the whole session and then enjoy a meal together at the end.

We have had lots of people coming to our Messy Church events and it is a great way to make friends and get to know each other.
